First Look: Atelier Series Sasaki Trumpet by Musical Sampling
I love brass and especially solo trumpet. During my university days 20 years ago, I played in a Motown band with an incredible trumpet player and now, with the Sasaki Trumpet, I have an incredible trumpet player in my studio.
As a melodic instrument, it’s perfect, but it would also be ideal as part of an ensemble. Whilst being very straightforward to use in terms of features, the focus is on the instrument and timbre. The sampling is on point, the legato scripting is brilliant and this is where this range of instruments truly shine. No nonsense instruments that are very well put together will achieve their goal. I cannot wait to see what Musical Sampling come out with next!
Sasaki Trumpet normally sells for $99 but is on intro sale for $69 from Musical Sampling.
