PostFelt and Soft Drums feel homespun in the best kind of way. Postfelt combines the sound of an upright piano with a felt piano and creative fx layers, while Soft Drums fills a gap in the composer toolkit by offering a perfect drum kit for those tracks where you need acoustic drums that land on the softer side of the sonic soundscape.

Thoughts
Some of you might be familiar with Jon Meyer as a working composer with some great YouTube videos, but you might not realize the extent of his sampling prowess. With Soft Drums and PostFelt, Jon has created a couple of boutique libraries with a homespun and authentic feel.
Soft Drums fills a gap in my own composer toolkit by offering a set of drums played in a gentle manner that fits perfectly into ballads, soft rock tracks, and more. The interface is easy-to-use while offering some nice features that allow you to tailor the sound to your liking. I especially like the fact that the keys are mapped in such a way that allow you to play the same drums with two hands, meaning it’s much easier to develop complex patterns on the fly. In addition to the main Kontakt instrument, there is a second Kontakt instrument that includes a nice selection of tempo-synced drum loops and fills. This is a great addition that allows you to instantly create soft drum beds for your tracks.
PostFelt combines the feel of a pure upright piano with a felt piano sound. However, there is also an additional selection of fx layers that allow you to create some nice ambient beds for your piano playing. From reverses, to detuning, to tape and more, the fx layers blend nicely to create some unique piano tones. Three mic positions are offered: Pure, Felt, and Body, allowing you to easily tailor the sound to your liking.
