Checking Out Havoc by Sample Logic
Havoc sells for $299.99 from Sample Logic
Spent some time with Havoc from Sample Logic and played through loads of the kontakt presets for a “Checking Out” video.
About Havoc
Havoc is a Kontakt Player instrument so it will load into your Libraries tab and is compatible with both the free konatkt player as well as the full version of kontakt. This cinematic percussion library has over 850 nki instruments.
This gargantuan percussion library was recorded in a multi car garage by sampling 100s of industrial machines, farm tools, auto body parts and gears. Each sample was then processed, manipulated, morphed and then programmed creatively to create the 850+ instruments patches.
The samples came from saws and chains, to buckets and drills, auto parts, tools, machines . . . anything and everything the Sample Logic team found inside the garage.
Over all the sounds are vibrant with lots of impacts and punch and the interface has just about every effect ( with effect parameter sequencing) ability I can think of. It’s easy to get started using Havoc and I was inspired pretty quickly experimenting and just getting to know the instrument.
