First Look: Hyperion Brass Elements by Soundiron

by

Hyperion Brass Elements proves that quality and flexibility need not be compromised by budget. Soundiron delivers Chamber Brass sections with a great dynamic range and can deliver both the round warmth we expect for a classic brass choir to the fortississimo splats needed for contemporary scores and trailer tracks . . . very possibly the very best budget buy of the year.

With the release of Hyperion Brass Elements, we get a first listen to a fantastic sample set, full range of articulations and well-designed engine. In this first look, I share a playthrough some of the instruments and thoughts on the new library.

This sample set of Chamber Brass sections was captured in a studio with a great dynamic range and can deliver both the rounded warmth we expect from a brass chorale to the fortississimo splats needed for contemporary scores and trailer tracks.

Hyperion Brass Elements MAIN Interface

The strengths of Hyperion Brass lies in the opportunity to custom-craft the Brass sound you desire. The library delivers infinite control over the sound thanks to the built-in algorithmic or convolution and a nice selection of rooms responses with controls for positioning thanks to the well-designed staging functionality.
