Svblime Est is Cinematic Alphas approach to orchestral instrumentation. The library is made purely from synthesis, morphing, and audio post-processing, so the sounds contained within are completely synthetic (no samples). It’s quite a feat to take on orchestral instrument creation using nothing but sound waves as your source material. As you might expect, many of the patches do sound synthetic, but I was especially impressed with the results found within the string and harp patches; these patches could be lovely in many applications. The price is on par with many sampled orchestral libraries, so that could be a cause for concern given the competitive landscape. However, there is a lot of content within Svblime Est – from phrases, to multis, to orchestral instruments and more.
