Checking Out: Haunted Strings 2 by Insanity Samples

Whilst there are several string fx libraries on the market, Haunted Strings 2 is a little bit different.  Firstly, the ensemble sounds instantly lush and gorgeous. So lush and gorgeous in fact, that you could use them for emotional underscore and drama scoring. Secondly, there are a number of oddball articulations that not only sound different and full of character, but are musical too. With the added features such as the “Fear” button, chord arranger, on board fx and instrument controls, this is a really great package for alternative and spooky strings. The value for money is exceptional and for the working composer, Haunted Strings 2 is a great addition to any composing palette.
