Thoughts

Double Bass Textures takes Emergence Audio’s Infinite Motion Engine into dark and beautiful territory. The pads and drones in this library are some of the most unique I’ve yet heard in the series, with a dark but lovely timbre. As always, the Infinite Motion Engine allows you to easily customize your own sounds, and the long, evolving samples lend themselves perfectly to underscore work – allowing you to simply hold down a few notes that seem to evolve forever. This is one of my favorite Emergence Audio libraries yet. It’s not the most flexible (as the double bass sample set is by definition a more limited range of sounds), but what it does it does well. If you need long and evolving underscore with a dark flavor, this is a great place to turn.
