Sonuscore Releases The PULSE Expansions: Synth Wave and Epic Atmospheres

Sonuscore has expanded The PULSE, its ensemble-engine instrument for basses, drums, leads and evolving electronic textures, with two new packs: Synth Wave and Epic Atmospheres. They join the existing Motion Textures and Dark Machina packs, bringing the range to four. The newest additions focus on retro character and cinematic scale, and both are available now.
According to Sonuscore, the engine inside The PULSE could do more than the launch presets showed, which is the reasoning behind the expansion range. The instrument runs on the same ensemble engine as The Orchestra and The Score, adapted for modern, pulse-driven electronic music, and it ships with more than eighty fully customisable sessions. Rather than building a new instrument for each idea, the developer adds material to the engine owners already have.
The first two packs were designed as contrasts. Motion Textures centres on restraint, with subtle intensity, purposeful drones and movement that stays in the background. Dark Machina goes the other way, with mechanical grooves, tight rhythms and growing tension. Sonuscore says each expansion is meant to answer a distinct creative need instead of simply adding more of the same, and that it favours quality over quantity.
Synth Wave and Epic Atmospheres cost $29.00 each and require The PULSE V1.1 or higher, which is sold separately. An intro offer runs until October 4, 2026, under which buyers of The PULSE can choose one expansion pack for free. A bundle discount also applies to the packs: 20% off when buying two and 30% off when buying three. The packs suit composers and producers who already work with The PULSE.
