In this video review, I take a look at everything the Cloud-based sample, preset, and plugin subscription Splice has to offer.
When I first heard of Splice, I was quick to dismiss it as just another subscription download-loop service. I usually can not use loops in my work as it needs to be original and unique compositions for my clients, I must say that after looking into Splice a little deeper, I found it could be surprisingly useful for many different kinds of music makers, sound designers as well as media professionals who are creating promotional or youtube videos, games or apps.
With nearly 1 million samples, loops, plugins and presets Splice has a lot to offer. I have already turned to the service to download a few one-shots claps and stomps for a project I am currently working on.
