With the release of Soundiron‘s Tablas 2.0, the developer has updated their fantastic Tabla instrument into the latest Soundiron engine for Kontakt.

The library is a collaboration with tabla master and jazz percussionist Sameer Gupta. The loops in this collection are unbeatable with a wide range of tempos and styles delivering the kind of tabla rhythms and performances you can only get from a master Tabla player.
Tablas 2.0 has a great selection of Tabla hits created for performing and sequencing realistic tabla performances.
The big stand out for me is the included loops. The loops are accessible via a loop browser and load up into Soundiron‘s loop engine for Kontakt. There is a huge selection fo performances and this is where I think I will get the most use out of the library. Nothing quite compares to the nature of sampling live performances with the sliced loop engine, users will have plenty of choices for finding the right groove and no end to customizing, combining and slicing the live performances.
