Have Audio has taken the concept found in Nordisk Kontrabass, moved it to the cello, and improved upon it. Nørdic Cello creates unique sounds, especially when combined with the beautiful Ice Blend FX, which is especially satisfying, with its huge ambient mixture of delay and reverb.

Thoughts
Nørdic Cello from Have Audio is the follow-up to Nordisk Kontrabass. Here, Have Audio has used the same concept found in Nordisk Kontrabass, but has added new features and brought this wintry instrument into the world of the cello.
There are a number of traditional articulations here, such as multiple pizzicatos, staccatos, legato, etc. However, there are also multiple texture patches that can be used to create unique sounds, especially when combined with the beautiful Ice Blend FX feature. The Ice Blend Fx control not only packs a cool visual effect when used but also creates a beautiful ambiance with some mysterious combination of reverb, delay, and possibly other ingredients. New fx have been introduced in Nørdic Cello in addition to multiple macro controls that allow the user to control the fx via the home page. I did find there to be volume inconsistencies between some of the articulations (with legato being much louder than the others) and the legato wasn’t quite as smooth and connected as I would have liked, but the presence of some unique articulations and sound design elements means Nørdic Cello can be used both in unique and some traditional applications.
