First Look: Drum Designer by UVI

 

UVI has released a new Drum Library and Sequencer in ONE. What looks to be a powerful drum machine with nearly 6,000 sounds and over 2,000 presets makes me wonder: Do I Really Need another Drum Sequencer?

If you are skipping the video to look for the answer I have to say. . .  YES. Drum Designer is easy to use with a huge variety of sounds and customization options. I don’t always work in electronic music genres so having the 2,000+ presets as leaping off points will be a great use for me. Overall all the intuitive workflow is what sold me on Drum Designer.

In this video I share a first look at the instruments listening through the large collection of preset sequences and having a go at altering and manipulation the sounds with the included controls.

Drum Designer downloads as 1.87GB. The library contains over 5,700 samples of Kicks, Snares, Claps, Cymbals, and Percussion.
The well thought out engine provides sonic customization with synthesis layers, wavetables and the expected ADSR with

Front Page Macros, a Sound Shaping Editors and a Mixing & Effects Controls panel.

The heart of the engine is the 8 Part Sequencer that comes loaded with over 2,000+ Presets ranging from House, Elector, Glitch, Urban and many many more.

The engine has a supported Drag And Drop Midi to you DAW as well as trigger keys top programmed the library with MIDI for playback.

Drum Designer operates as a 64-bit plugin and is compatible with both Falcon or the FREE UVI Workstation,
