First Look Dronar Brass Module by Gothic Instruments
Gothic Instruments is back with a new entry in the Dronar Series. This time the developer set it’s sites on Concert Brass. But, don’t expect to find a new set of life-like multi-sampled orchestral brass instruments in this library. In true Dronar fashion the developer has mixed, mangled, skewed and manipulated the original sample set into a collection of drones, pulses and atmospheres with controls for adjusting and morphing the layers in real time.
In the first look video above, I took about 40 minutes to play through the preset menu and get a feel for what the curated brass textures had to offer.
I was hoping to post the credits for composers and sound designers who worked on the library but can’t seem to find it in the manual. I will reach out to Time + Space and Gothic Instruments to see if I can find out who the talents behind these fantastic presets are.
