Low, low, low woodwinds . . there is nothing quite like them for cinematic scoring. This sample set of Contrabass Flute textures, pops, and short riffs from Sonixinema spared no expense at the highest sonic fidelity.
In this very unique library, the developer captured flutist Gareth Mclearnon, known for his virtuosic performances across scores for such films as Alien Covenant, Horizon Zero Dawn, Mary Magdalene and more.
This is the third release in Soniximena’s Experiments range of libraries and I am quickly becoming a fan of this line.

Brute Flute – Extended Techniques downloads as 940 MB of losslessly compressed samples from a 2.3 GB sample pool of Contrabass Flute performances by Gareth Mclearnon. The library was captured on a dry scoring stage with a focus on Cinematic Textures, Harmonic Embellishments & Explosive Articulations.
Brute Flute comes with 49 Presets and is housed in Sonixinema‘s Experiments Series Engine with Multiple Mic Perspectives with Proximity Fader and dynamic fader for shaping playback as well as an effects section containing several Convolution Reverbs with custom designed IRs.
Brute Flute does require Native INstrument (full) Kontakt 5.7.0 or higher.
