Checking Out: Sonar by Fallout Music Group

In the video above contributor Pete Checkley shares his experience getting to know the new “ping” tool for Kontakt by Fallout Music Group. With all sources captured at 24bit/48k and 50,000 sonic combinations, Sonar’s 3-layer engine allows users to blend different samples with variety of effects.

Sonar contains designed synths and organic samples and promises to be the “ultimate ping & signature creation tool.” The first in the developer’s new Artist Series instruments, SONAR is a Kontakt instrument with sound design by Kyle Kniceley.

Built for users to customize and create their own unique “PINGS” this instrument will be a welcome addition to those working on trailers, film, tv and game work as well as for sound designers looking to expand their ping and alert pallet.
