Touted as continuing the cinematic sonic explorations of Ether Fields, Plurality is a new preset collection for Falcon 2 from well known sound designer Simon Stockhausen. Plurality provides a number of macros right on the interface that gives all kinds of controls for sculpting these presets with envelopes, filters and effects.
What I am appreciating most about this preset pack is peaking under the hood to see the different combinations of synthesis used for the collection. Many of the sounds seem to utilize layers of synthesis techniques from wavetable, sample-based and physical modeling, and of course a heaping helping of modulation and effects.
In the video, I share a first look at Plurality for Falcon, opening up the presets and getting a feel for the temperament and range in this collection.
