Percussion Factory is one of the funnest and most creative instruments I’ve seen in a while. Not only does it come stocked with a plethora of instruments, articulations, and presets, but it contains an incredibly intuitive and flexible rhythm creation engine that allows you to create rhythms, poly-rhythms, and everything in between. The 8 independent layers allow you to select 8 different instruments with completely separate sequences, fx, pitch, and more. The scripting here is fantastic – even with very complex rhythms you don’t hear the machine gun effect. UVI’s Percussion Factory isn’t just an incredibly flexible and intuitive instrument – its just plain fun to use!

Facts

Percussion runs in both the free UVI Workstation 3.1.11+ and Falcon 2.8.5+. A free iLok account is required, but no dongle is necessary. The instrument includes 556 presets across 1014 layers and 8560 samples and requires 700MB of diskspace.
