Thoughts
Much like its predecessor, Guitar Fury, Sample Logic’s Key Fury packs a wide range of playable keys within an intuitive and easy-to-use interface. Within the interface, you will find a useful stackable tagging system that allows you to easily find the type of sound you’re looking for, a wide range of customizable FX, and a front panel that is straightforward yet flexible. Unlike many other Sample Logic instruments with deep controls and complex interfaces, the approach with Key Fury is to simplify the interface to make the instrument quickly accessible without a lot of fuss. While I enjoy the more complex and flexible interfaces from Sample Logic, this will appeal to many users who just want to find the playable key sound they’re looking for. With 190 presets and the ability to randomize instruments, presets, and FX, Key Fury will allow users to find sounds quickly while also quickly creating happy accidents via the randomization controls.
