XCTR is a multi-band harmonic exciter based on HeadCrusher saturation. Harmonic exciters can give a shine to certain frequencies in the mix. They can be used on drums to make the cymbals shine, bring up the kick drum on a stereo bus, bring some life back into a dull instrument, or even some shine to the whole mix. 

Engage the oversample switch if you need to enhance the saturation quality. Click on the top bar of the plugin to audition each band separately. Double-clicking lets you enter values directly into any control, ctrl/cmd+click sets controls to their default positions.

XCTR includes 12 different saturation flavours to spice up any track, 4 bands of saturation let you fit any track to any mix. Add the ACG to get an accurate reading of the changes you make, and take it from subtle warmth to full on destruction!
