Get the German Harpsichords Bundle by Realsamples.  This bundle features two rare and beautiful sounding German harpsichords, built by Christian Vater and Christian Zell in the 18th century.  These instruments provide a mellow low end, rich low mids, majestic upper harmonics, and a delicate treble range, unlike any other harpsichords.

The instruments were recorded at 192 kHz/24 bits and downsampled to 44.1 kHz. Harpsichords are not touch-sensitive. However, not any note will sound the same twice due to resonances of body and strings. Therefore, we captured every note with up to 8 variations. The key release sounds are also of major importance for a thorough impression of the instrument. Those were recorded with 4 release samples per note.
