Impact Soundworks release ‘Shreddage 3 Stratus FREE’

Impact Soundworks has just released ‘Shreddage 3 Stratus FREE’, a completely free Kontakt instrument based on the recently released Shreddage 3 engine! This is a six-string American classic guitar sound with the core sounds and key features of the full virtual instrument, usable in Kontakt 5.7 and up.

“Simply put, we think this is the most realistic, flexible, and versatile free electric guitar library ever released. It includes the majority of the new feature and improvements we made in Shreddage 3, along with sustain, palm mute, choke, and release articulations with up to 24 samples per note (dynamics, RR, and up/down strokes all included).”

Differences between the free and full versions are:

Full version has 3 pickups (neck, bridge, middle), free has 1 (neck)

Full version has fingered & whammy vibrato, free version has only fingered

Full version has four octaves of range with 24 frets per string, free version has three octaves and 12 frets
