In 2003 Chocolate Audio released a (then) revolutionary library Imperial Drums in a partnership with developer Scarbee.
It was the first multimic drum library ever published for a soft sampler. Together with Imperial Drums XL, an expanded version released in 2005 for the HALion Player engine, it was a huge seller and got rave reviews.
Last autumn, while updating and refreshing our drum line, Chocolate Audio decided to port the most currently edited Imperial Drums content to the Kontakt platform, since we were getting so many requests to have an up-to-date engine running this now vin
tage library.
Imperial Drums for Kontakt contains 10 GB compressed content with more than 150 drums and no less than 13 different stick/beater types being used. All housed with the power and ease of use of Chocolate Audio’s Drum Particles Kontakt engine
